    The WITZ spling adn grandma krekter  
  worked amazingly well. Mona really is  
  a whizz - she must be a friend of      
  Pilar's. As instructed, I put the test 
  file into the program, and, in next to 
  no time, it not only corrected all     
  those mistakes, but even shortened and 
  reordered the text, which finally      
  became:                                
    "Send immediate refund, under trades 
  descriptions act, or my lawyers will   
  be in the post."                       
                                         
    I attended M.I.T. for a while, but   
  that was a long time ago, which        
  probably explains why I never ran into 
  Mona.                                  
    In passing, it's said that at Yale   
  one year, on speech day, the main      
  speaker took as his theme the letters  
  Y,A,L,E, with each letter standing for 
  a subject, such as Youth and Ambition, 
  and spoke for twenty minutes on each   
  subject. As he droned on into the      
  second hour, one now near-comatose     
  member of the audience muttered to his 
  neighbour: "Good thing this isn't the
